Before you publish: this is a starting draft written to match what the forms on this site actually collect. Have it reviewed by a Vermont attorney, and replace the business address and contact details below with your real ones.
Sadie Clean (“we”, “us”) operates sadieclean.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.
Information we collect
We only collect information you type into a form on this site. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
- Cleaning requests. First name, email address, neighborhood or town, type of clean, home size, and any notes you choose to add.
- Car detailing requests. Full name, phone number, email address, vehicle details, the type of detailing you want, and any notes about the vehicle’s condition.
- Cleaner applications. Full name, email address, phone number, the area you can work, your cleaning experience, and whether you have reliable transportation.
- Basic technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server information such as IP address and browser type for security and abuse prevention.
How we use it
- To reply to your request and confirm scheduling, availability and pricing.
- To match a cleaning request with a local cleaner.
- To review applications from people who want to work with us.
- To keep records of the requests and consents we receive.
Sharing with Sadie Auto detailing partners
The car detailing form on this site is a referral form. If you submit it and check the consent box, we pass the contact and vehicle information you provided to Duquette’s Precision Mobile Detailing LLC (DPMD), an independent service partner, so that DPMD can contact you about your request.
DPMD is a separate business. It quotes, schedules, performs, insures and invoices all detailing work — Sadie Clean does not. Once your information reaches DPMD, DPMD’s own privacy practices apply to how it handles that information. We only send it if you check the consent box.
Other parties who handle your data
- Netlify hosts this website and processes and stores form submissions on our behalf.
- Local cleaners assigned to your job receive the details needed to complete it, such as your name, address and the scope of the clean.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions for as long as we need them to run the business and to keep a record of consents. If you ask us to delete your information and we are not required to keep it, we will.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw a consent you previously gave. Email hello@sadieclean.com and we will respond within 30 days. Withdrawing consent does not undo sharing that already happened.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are stored in access-controlled accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
